Donegal County Council-Appeal to water consumers
After a prolonged dry spell and despite some local rainfall this week, Donegal County Council again appeal to people to conserve water. Regrettable,
restrictions on some water supplies are inevitable at this stage to maintain
reserves for daytime use. Please do not leave taps running at home, at work or in fields. Please check for faulty plumbing as dripping taps or running cisterns can account for considerable loss. People are urged to use water sparingly so as to avoid shortages throughout this dry period.
