Joe Mahon at Fort Dunree

“Lesser Spotted Ulster” presenter Joe Mahon will be the guest speaker at the launch of the “Fort Dunree Membership Scheme” in the Saldanha Suite at Fort Dunree at 7.30pm tomorrow night. The event, being hosted by the board of the Fort Dunree Military Museum, will also see the re-launch of the “Guns for Dunree” book and the screening of the new Fort Dunree DVD. Included in the membership scheme, which costs 50 euro, is an up to date DVD detailing the history of Fort Dunree, The Guns of Dunree by Col. Declan O’Carroll, a membership card giving free access for a year to Fort Dunree for a family, membership badge and a newsletter which will be sent to members quarterly.
